Meet Me Under the Mango Tree

Andre enjoys living in Haiti with Daddy, Mama, and Baby Sister. He waters his mango trees, visits Daddy at the warehouse, and plays with his friends. One scary day, their family and some other missionaries are kidnapped by a powerful gang of robbers. They have to sleep in a hot, crowded room. They get hungry and thirsty, and rats try to eat their food. Andre and his friend Shelden don't have any toys to play with. Will they ever be allowed to go home?

Andre discovers that he can have fun with toys made from trash, and he learns how good any food tastes when one is really hungry. He sees that God's power is stronger than the devil's power. And then one night, God does a wonderful thing.
