Anna's Discovery, sequel to Anna's Courage

A new home! Twelve-year-old Anna and her family were moving farther west into the wilderness of Alberta, Canada. It was 1930, during the Great Depression, and times were hard. But they would finally have a farm of their own.

Anna felt grumpy as they started out. How could she leave her friends behind? But she resolved to look for things to be thankful for. After all, owning their own land was a dream come true. And exploring the wilderness would be exciting!

But living in bear country brought lots of surprises - many of them not good. What could they do about the poison in the marsh? Or the mean-looking neighbor with a gun? And why did the summer nights get so cold? Would it frost? Through it all, Anna discovers that worry never gets you anywhere - and that even when courage fails, God never does.
