God has set us in the chain of generations. The light of truth was handed down to us from our elders for the express purpose of having it enshrined in our own generation - that we would show the generations to come the praises and the strength of God that they will also learn to fear the Lord. That is the beauty of being elderly.

Through the centuries, many of God's warrior have influenced our world, though their names have been buried in oblivion. It is not important that our names be remembered, but that the name of our eternal God has been exalted and made known.

We can't go back and do things over, nor can we change the direction the wind blows in our lives. But we can accept what life hands us and adapt to the conditions. Refusing to accept our limitations or complaining about them will only rob us of joy.
