A beautifully designed cookbook dedicated to the memory of Arlene Peachey of Lighthouse Haven.

 

In the 1980s, Arlene Peachey was a single lady living in the Belleville/McVeytown, Pennsylvania, area. She was asked to help a lady from the church. Arlene put her all into it and soon opened her heart and home to many more struggling ladies and girls. Out of that, Lighthouse Haven began. She eventually moved to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, where she resided until her passing.

 

If you didn't know how to cook when you went to Lighthouse Haven, you certainly did when you left! This cookbook is a collection of Arlene's recipes plus various former staff and residents. Arlene's family also did a good job of contributing recipes.
